Although you wouldn't expect anything less from two predominant figures of noise fields, the name Testicle Hazard apparently refers to a place near Keranen's home town in Finland (the actual translation of the name).
Lasse Marhaug has appeared on more than one hundred releases on cassettes, vinyls and CDs, and has put out more than twenty albums in the past 15 years. The list of collaborators in his studio and live projects includes Merzbow, Maja Ratkje, Otomo Yoshihide, Sachiko M, Pita, Russel Haswell as well as Lee Ranaldo, Mats Gustafsson and Paal Nilssen-Love and too many more. He is also a co-organiser of Oslo's ALL EARS improvised music festival.

Tommi KerŠnen, a central figures of the noise/improv scene in Helsinki is an active organiser of experimental music concerts and with curator of AVANTO Festival 2006 Music programe. Keränen's performances are quite physical, with feedback and use of contact microphones on scrap metal play a central role.

They say: "It's honest, rough-edged noise without any profound concepts or external purposes". Take their word for it. It will be their first UK appearance.
