London, 12 January 2006 - Following the recent and fresh success of our opening 2007 event with Birchville Cat Motel, Peter Wright and Alex Mein Smith, [no.signal] has decided to push the boundaries by a fraction for the next event in program. Originally planned to be an event with UK mysterious Aufgehoben and the loud noise duo Testicle Hazard with Lasse Marhaug and Tommi Keranen, it has now evolved into a day festival at the state51 factory alternating self-amplified performances and (probably loud) acts in a different setting.

The idea is to have:

1. a resonant space with acousticly-led performances opening with a new trio composed of Roger Turner (drums), Joe Williamson (double bass) and Stefano Tedesco (vibraphone). The stage will close with the guitar virtuoso James Blackshaw.
2. a main space consisting of only amplified (and rather loud) acts opening with Portable (laptop group with Rodhri davis) and closed by the first ever UK live performance of UK quartet Aufgehoben.
